and for some of the best news I have gotten this year, is this announcement at Little Dreamer Designs! I was literally floored when I got the email from Michelle saying that I was one of the 25 girls that were chosen. Jeni B. and I were chatting away on the phone when I opened my email and voila, there it was, then we both started screaming because she had gotten one too....and well I was acting like a ridiculous 13 yr old..giggling, screaming, dancing...it was lame, but I am really excited about it...until I saw the competition. HOLY COW, I am in wayyy over my head because these other girls obviously know what the heck they are doing and I am literally clueless..
But here is my FREE kit called Little Boy Blue. You can download it here! http://www.littledreamerdesigns.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=30082
And here is my sneaker:

So feel free to download it, use it and you can post your layouts, cards, projects etc.. to the LDD gallery for a chance to win a gift certificate!

While you are at it, go check out Jeni B's super cute and funky kit "Runaway" ...yep, now try to get Bon Jovi out of your head now LOL...oooohhhh she's a little runaway...

It rocks huh! So Jeni and I are going to close our eyes, take a huge deep breath, cross our fingers and toes and hope to God we don't make fools of ourselves LOL. We are going to dork and CRAXY things up over at LDD. So stay tuned!

Now on to a huuuge long day!

It's a new record!

Twice, yes two postings in one month!
Gonna take a few minutes of time out of my day to update a bit.

A few fun opportunities came my way this month:

The first in the form of being asked to be a guest designer for a new Japanese Scrapping Blog called Scrap in Japan. I received a random email out of the blue from a very sweet gal named Yuko Abe asking if I would like to participate in a sketch blog that she started. I couldn't resist and wanted to be a part of something so fun! I created this sketch

and this layout to accompany the sketch. I used Shimmerz new Teresa Collins Pearlz in Ballet Slipper Pink and a toilet paper tube and some other round objects as stamps to create the circles. The cutie pie baby girl, is the granddaughter of my dear friend Pam!

Check out what the design team members came up with based off of the sketch. Some really cool and creative ideas. I just love seeing how different people all over the world have varying styles.

My next bit of fun news is my recent promotion as Design Team Coordinator for Shimmerz Paints! I am really excited to be taking a new role in Stacey's company and really believe in this product. And I get to work alongside my favorite gal pal, Jeni Boisvert, who is the Ed Team Coordinator. The two of us=TROUBLE!

And my last bit of scrappy updating are my layouts for this month's Scarlet Lime Kit! The colors were AMAZING. Fun and bright with some black and white thrown in for good measure.
Here is the April "Morning Sunshine" kit:

And here are 2 of my layouts I created with the kit:

I have another layout to share using the kit but am saving it for a special challenge. For information on how I achieved the cool paint effect on my last photo here, check out the Shimmerz Blog early next week!

Now back to my regular crazy schedule....
talk to you all soon, if anyone is out there!
